The short version: we only use what is strictly necessary to log you in and remember your settings. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no analytics cookies.
Because everything we set is strictly necessary for the service to function, no consent banner is currently required. If we ever add non-essential cookies (for example analytics), we will add a proper consent choice first and update this policy.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential ones will log you out and disable accounts, but the public parts of the site will keep working.
When paid subscriptions launch, our payment provider Stripe may set cookies needed for secure checkout and fraud prevention. Those are also strictly necessary for the payment function and covered by Stripe's own policies.
